【Audit System】
The internal audit of TONG MING ENTERPRISE CO., LTD. is an independent unit directly under the Board of Directors; in addition to reporting at regular Board meetings, it also reports to the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee on a monthly basis or as necessary.
The Internal Audit Program specifies that the Internal Audit reviews the internal controls over the Company's operating procedures and reports on the appropriateness of the design and routines of such controls, as well as their effectiveness and efficiency; the scope of which covers all of the Company's operations and its subsidiaries.
Audits are performed primarily in accordance with the audit plan approved by the Board of Directors, which is based on identified risks, and specialty audits or reviews are performed as necessary. The combination of these general audits and project execution provides management with the status of the internal control function's operation and provides management with timely access to additional channels for understanding existing or potential deficiencies.
Internal Audit reviews the self-inspections carried out by each unit, including checking whether the operation has been carried out and reviewing the documentation to ensure the quality of the execution, and synthesizes the results of the self-inspections and reports them to the Board of Directors.
The Company's internal audit unit is staffed by a full-time auditor, and the manager and his/her team of auditors total 2 persons.
